i wasn't expecting any comment, least of all from the very person who wrote the study that was the subject of my critique...i was more than thrilled i must say. My thesis proposal would be on the same subject, only it would be in Philippine context. I hope i could get more comments from you in the future. Thanks.

I'm currently teaching English for Koreans in the Philippines and at the same time working on my thesis study about perceptions of ESL teaching and learning in relation to student performance. I find it pretty confusing since I have to widen off my researches. I felt overwhelmed to finally find a Korean wave in the Philippines --- it really contributes something for my work though I don't see much of the reasons you mentioned why these Koreans came here to study.
